Indy Engineering and Machining was founded by Brenton Rettig and Chance Lowry. Both Brenton and Chance graduated from IUPUI with degrees in Mechanical Engineering Technology. After working several years for Rolls-Royce as Manufacturing Engineers, Brenton and Chance decided to take their passion for machining to the next level. What started as hobby machine shops in each of their garages came together as IEM. Both are passionate about what they do, and love the challenges that come with Engineering and Machining. Their experience in Aerospace process development has given them vast experience in design and manufacturing techniques, and IEM gives them the opportunity to share those skills and manufacturing methods with others in a traditional job shop environment.
